We are loving the music videos directed, shot and starring this talent, Little Luna! Little Luna has been using Pro8mm since the creation of her artistry 3 years ago.
Little Luna says, "I fund everything myself, and this most recent music video for "fool", was my first opportunity to hire an all female cast and crew on shoot day! It's a mix of film and digital. can't wait to hear if you connect to it!: My music video for "lennon" was directed by me, and shot entirely on Pro8mm film, and currently is my most watched YT video to date!

New 3D Printed Eye Cups for the Pro814
We just got in a shipment of replacement rubber eye cups for the Pro814. For us, having this beautiful camera restored and not having this piece was really frustrating these last few months! Finally, we sourced a vendor who could make them for us. The eye cups are not for individual sale, but are part of our Pro814 camera restoration offering. We do have an another option however. This is 814 replacement eye cup kit that can be installed by the filmmaker without sending in their camera. You can purchase the kit here. Pro814 Eye Piece Pro8mm is commitment to sourcing much needed replacement parts for the cameras we sell. We love how we are able to continue to give these amazing vintage cameras new life.

2024 United States 36th Annual Super 8 Film and DV Festival
For over 20 years, Pro8mm has been sponsoring the oldest Super 8 Festival in the United States, and it is our absolute pleasure to continue this tradition by donating our Film Kits as prizes.
Congratulations to the amazing Professor Albert G. Nigrin, Executive Director/Curator, New Jersey Film Festival/United States Super 8 Film and Digital Video Festival,Rutgers Film Co-op/New Jersey Media Arts Center, Program In Cinema Studies, Rutgers University. His commitment to the festival is just awesome. Al writes: "We had a nice Festival over the last two days although the in-person screening on Saturday was cancelled due to a major snowstorm that hit Central Jersey. Luckily folks could still see the program online. Many thanks to Phil and Rhonda Vigeant as well as Jaclyn Melo of Pro8mm and Sara Leavitt at Icarus Films/OVID for sponsoring our Festival again and providing the prizes for the Best of Festival winners. I will be sending an email to the prize winners very soon." Check out all the winners here!

CELEBRATING the 20th Anniversary of DIG! at Sundance
The talk of this years Sundance Film Festival in Park City was the screening and digital remastering of the film Dig! , titled DIGXX! Written, produced and filmed by our long time client Ondi Timoner and her brother David, the film is the 2004 American documentary about the rock band careers of The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. The original version took Ondi and her team 7 years to shoot.
Ondi won the Documentary Grand Jury Prize that year at the Sundance Film Festival, and was the first woman to win this honor. She has an impressive career, having won Sundance Jury Again in 2009 for WE LIVE IN PUBLIC.
Since that first film, Ondi has worked on many projects with Pro8mm, and we are so proud to have a small part in her remarkable career.
We supplied the film, processing, scanning and camera support for all the super 8 footage in this feature film. Many long hours went into this ground breaking use of Super 8 in a feature documentary, shown on the big screen at Sundance 2004.
At our 50th Anniversary Celebration last year, Ondi was one of the speakers, and talked about how a young 20 something could not have made this film without Phil and Pro8mm. Read more about Dig XX!
